Delta Hotels by Marriott Watters Creek Convention Center Taps Dallas-based Ultravision to Deliver 198 Square-Foot LED Display
DALLAS – February 26, 2019 – The centerpiece of the courtyard of the $91 million Delta Hotels by Marriott Watters Creek Convention Center will be a 198 square-foot LED display manufactured by Ultravision International, a leading innovator, manufacturer and distributor of LED displays and LED lighting.
Mounted as a video wall that lights up the Delta Hotel’s entertainment courtyard, the 11 feet tall by 18 feet wide high-resolution LED display can be used for a variety of purposes from broadcasting on-site events to running advertising and marketing promotions to live-streaming sporting events for hotel and conference center guests.
Set to open in early 2019, the Delta Hotel will be the largest convention center space between Dallas and Oklahoma along U.S. Highway 75.
“The Delta opening is a game changer for Dallas’ booming business community, and it’s only right that the conference hub will feature a locally-manufactured LED display to communicate with audiences during all of the exciting events that will happen there,” said William Hall, CEO and co-founder of Ultravision International. “We couldn’t be more excited about this partnership and can’t wait to see how conference hosts and advertisers take advantage of the new LED display.”
The new Delta Hotels by Marriott – which is located at the northwest corner of U.S. 75 and Bethany Drive -- includes 300 rooms, 90,000 square feet of convention and meeting space with 1,000 parking spaces. It offers a sophisticated interpretation of the Texas urban landscape, and reflects the energy of North Dallas by blending rustic design materidals with curated art and the latest technology. It’s the first-ever Delta Hotels by Marriott in Texas and will be used as a model design for future new builds of the hotel line throughout the U.S.
“We started initial conversations with Ultravision International after a strong recommendation from J&S Audio Visual” said Stacy Martin, Managing Director of Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Allen & Watters Creek Convention Center. “With further research, our team found that Ultravision offered the greatest flexibility and outstanding expertise necessary for our project and their team was very welcoming to our business.”
The video wall on display at the new Delta Hotels by Marriott was built using Ultravision’s light-weight UltraPanel technology, which allows for a slim design and significantly cuts energy-consumption, operational costs and maintenance fees of digital displays.
Ultravision’s new display at the Delta Hotels by Marriott is the latest addition to its expanding portfolio of LED displays, which includes the largest LED display on Cromwell Road in London, a recently installed LED digital billboard in the heart of Glasgow’s ‘Style Mile’ in Scotland, and several LED displays in New York’s Times Square.
