Coming Soon: Our Digital Panels Will Transform the Cromwell Road Site
At 450 square meters, Cromwell Road is the longest advertising site in the United Kingdom. Beginning October 2015 it will also become the only digital special build site in the United Kingdom.
What is the Cromwell Road Site?
Cromwell Road is one of the busiest A-roads in Europe, being the connection between London and Heathrow Airport. The number of travelers means there are around two million impacts every two weeks. Advertisements along that route have great deal of potential for views.
The out-of-home advertising site on Cromwell Road is considered to be one of the most iconic and famous sites in Europe. It has also become known for the special build capabilities offered to advertisers by Clear Channel UK.
About The Display
Using our Master Series Ultrapanel, one of our most technologically advanced LED displays, Clear Channel UK will remake the current Cromwell Road site into Storm Cromination London. This installation consists of six displays made up of 1200 panels for a total 72 meters in length. The finished display will be one of the longest LED displays available in Europe.
If you’re concerned the switch to digital will alter too much of what makes the Cromwell Road site famous, don’t be. With these displays, advertisers are still able to take advantage of the theatrical special build elements they already enjoy on the Cromwell Road site through Clear Channel’s digital brand Storm. They just also gain the benefits of responsive digital content.
All six displays are available for advertisers to purchase as one unit. This will provide advertisers with plenty of opportunity for creativity. Depending on their campaign’s needs, they can place one message per display or stretch content across all six displays.
How the Project Came To Be
Our involvement in Storm Cromination London is particularly exciting because it is one of the largest projects Clear Channel UK is handling this year. The whole project was made possible by the partnership we at Ultravision have developed with Active International.
The partnership enabled us to provide the panels to Clear Channel because of the relationship they already had with the UK arm of Active. That relationship is now expanding because of the products we offer through the partnership.
