Ultravision International Establishes Global Headquarters in Dallas and Hires Eight New Employees

DALLAS (October 27, 2014) – Ultravision International, the global leader in LED displays and lighting, has established its international headquarters in Dallas. The company is a joint venture with Active International, one of the largest media companies in the world. Together, the companies, under the name Ultravision Technologies, intend to reshape the out-of-home advertising industry by supplying digital screens to advertisers via corporate trade.

“Ultravision International is growing ahead of projections due in large part to our team of true professionals,” said William Hall, CEO and co-founder of Ultravision International. “With our recent Clear Channel partnership in London and others, our team will expand further in the United States and internationally to accommodate the company’s expanding portfolio of out-of-home media customers.”

Upon establishing its headquarters, Ultravision has hired the following new employees with more planned in 2014:

Brian Loos, vice president of operations, is an 18-year operations veteran with experience managing, multiple facilities with more than 120 people and a $100 million P&L. Brian will lead operations for Ultravision, insuring that all product manufacturing and distribution across the globe run smoothly. He will also be charged with product accuracy and satisfaction from development through customer installation.  Brian holds a BS and a MS in industrial engineering from Texas Tech University.

 Paul King, European operations manager, is a seasoned operations professional with significant experience managing multi-million pound projects in an international environment. He previously worked for Seimans Infrastructure Logistics. Paul is now responsible for Ultravision’s European manufacturing and distribution. He graduated with a degree in management from the University of Northampton.

Jessica Brown, operations coordinator, will manage all project timelines, including inspection dates and documentation as well as product warranty and repairs. She is responsible for insuring that products are manufactured and shipped in accordance with contract deadlines. Jessica graduated from the University of West Florida in Pensacola.

Beverley Walker, a 20-year sales veteran with experience at Clear Channel, CBS Outdoor and JC Decaux, joins Ultravision as director of international sales. She is charged with all overseas sales, targeting new and existing customers in the retail, hospitality, sports and the OOH industry. Beverly, a native of Manchester, England, now resides in New York City.

Douglas Cordova, director of OAC sales, has been a high-performing sales professional for more than 10 years. At Ultravision, he is responsible for the growth and sales of all products in the U.S.  Doug attended The University at Albany and resides in Forest Hills, Queens.

Ricardo Gonzalez, mechanical engineer, has 19 years experience working as a project engineer, as a design engineer and as an R&D engineer in the power generation, elevator and airport passenger boarding bridge industries.  Ricardo is responsible for providing manufacturing/technical support of the LED sign systems and is also responsible for developing new innovative ways for sign deployment. Ricardo holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Florida International University.

Matthew Foster, electrical engineer, was an engineer with Baker Hughes, Inc. responsible for data acquisition systems. Additionally, he has experience creating manufacturing drawings via SolidWorks and understands the complexities of LED display technologies. Mathew will be the knowledge expert for all electrical engineering activities, including developing all system drawings and schematics for electrical systems, computer hardware systems, installation and ongoing support. Matthew holds a BS in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University. 

Brenda Pacheco, sales and marketing coordinator, has 14 years of marketing and sales experience in the printing and manufacturing industries. She is responsible for Ultravision’s marketing communications activities, and she will serve as the sales liaison. Brenda is a native of Chicago and graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in psychology and a minor in business.
